Comfortable beds and spacious rooms are the best aspects of this accommodation. the location is great for sightseeing in the historical district, where there are convenient shops and cafes. It was also a nice bonus to have complimentary breakfast and snacks available at the reception.
The facilities were lacking and there were no instructions for the unfamiliar bathtub. Customer service was poor, with a receptionist who was not very welcoming or helpful, and staff were rarely available.

The stairs in the hotel can be quite steep, which may be difficult for some guests with heavy luggage or mobility issues.

My stay at Hotel Zizi Kyoto Gion was exceptional. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and nice lighting. The bathroom amenities, including the luxurious bathtub and the Dyson blowdryer, were a highlight. The location was perfect, right in Gion and within walking distance of all the sites. The hotel staff was warm and accommodating, and they allowed us to leave our luggage in storage after checkout. I highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay in Kyoto.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and local attractions.
There were no elevators in the hotel, which made it difficult to carry our luggage up the stairs. the breakfast provided was a bit lackluster.
